The Team

Mr Sukhbir Hothi is the principal Dentist and proprietor of SH Dental Care.

He qualified from Cardiff University in 1993 and subsequently worked as an associate at Shipston on Stour Dental Surgery.

In November 1997 he bought and moved to 17 Priory Terrace.

Since moving to Priory Terrace Mr Hothi has re modernised the building installing the most up to date technology.

Mr Hothi strives to provide a professional and high standard quality of dental care for all his patients, and has obtained the Silver Membership Award in the BDA Good Practice Guide.

As an experienced Dental Surgeon Mr Hothi completed many post graduate qualifications to enable him to provide patients with a range of the most modern and up to date Dental Treatments.

As well being involved in training newly qualified dentists and introducing them to general dental practice, Mr Hothi holds a special interest in Dental Implants and Facial Aesthetics and has completed qualifications in both areas.

Mr Hothi has also recently qualified to be able to provide Invisalign to patients in the practice which is a unique and discreet way to straighten teeth using Invisible braces.

His particular area of expertise involves Advanced Restorative Dentistry using the latest technology CAD/CAM, taking Smile Makeovers to another level.

With qualifications in all aspects of Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry Mr Hothi is able to provide a solution to give all patients a smile to be proud of.

Jennifer Bate is our Associate Dental Surgeon.

Jennifer qualified as a Dentist in 2009 from Guys, Kings College & St. Thomas’ Hospital Dental Institute London.

After qualification Jennifer worked in a practice in Kenilworth completing her 1 year Vocational Training. Followed by Associate positions at practices in Coventry and Warwick.

Jennifer is keen to welcome existing patients and will be expanding her list to enable her to continue to accept New NHS patients.

Jennifer joined Mr Hothi's practice in October 2011 seeing mainly NHS patients but will also be happy to provide Private treatment.

Denise Lowe is the Practice Manager at the practice.

Denise qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1991 and after coming to work for Mr Hothi in 1996, she completed a Certificate of Oral Hygiene.

Denise has also attended the Birmingham Dental Hospital to obtain her certificate in Practice Management, and has also recently completed her Teaching Practice Part One at Mid Warwickshire College.

In 2008 Denise qualified in Dental Radiography which allows her to take x-rays of our patients.

Sonia Leahy joined our practice in August 2008. She joined us as a trainee Dental Nurse but recently qualified in September 2010.

Sonia is a valuable member of our team and a favourite amongst the patients.

She is looking forward to undertaking new challenges and achieving post graduate qualifications in the future.

Susan Everest is our Hygienist. She qualified as a Dentist in 1986 from the University College London. She has worked in NHS dental practices in Rugby and passed her post graduate diploma in Health Promotion at UCS in 1995. Susan has also worked on the oral health project for the NHS Trust in Rugby.

After raising her two children Susan decided to return to Dentistry in the role of Hygienist helping to promote and advise Good Oral Hygiene to our patients.

Helen Warner Watts is joined our practice in May 2010.

Helen started Dental Nursing in 1993 and qualified in 1995.

Helen has worked in different practices in the Leamington Spa and Southam areas undertaking all aspects of Dental Nursing and Reception.

Helen also holds a National Certificate in Radiography which enables her to take X rays for our patients.

Helen is also due to undertake a Fire Marshall course to become the Fire Warden for our practice.

Tricia Blatston is our Receptionist

Tricia has recently joined the practice as our part time receptionist.

Tricia has been a receptionist previously and brings with her a wealth of experience from Dental and an Acupuncture background

Tricia will be working part time with us and we would like to welcome her to the practice.

All the staff have also completed a course in Occupational Health and Safety from Mid Warwickshire
