Invisalign®

If you have always wanted to straighten your teeth but have been put off by wearing unsightly braces then Invisalign® is for you.

invisalign

Nearly invisible braces are a discrete solution for the straightening of misaligned and crooked teeth.

The 'braces' are comfortable with no metal wires reducing irritation and allergies and convenient as they can be removed for eating or drinking.

Each patient will be shown a 3D image of the ‘before and after’ on commencement of treatment so you can actually see the different stages of teeth movement and the final result!

What are the benefits of nearly Clear Braces?

invisalign
  • Invisalign® Aligners are nearly invisible so no one will know you are wearing them.
  • Treatment time is considerably less than with metal braces most cases only taking from 6 months to 12 months to complete, unlike metal braces which can take up to 3 to 4 years.
  • Unlike metal braces the Aligners are removed when eating therefore preventing a restricted diet.
  • They are easy to clean and help prevent staining of your own natural teeth.

What is involved in having Invisalign® Aligners?

  • The Aligners are custom moulded to fit your mouth producing clear gum shield which will be un noticed in public.
  • Impressions, photographs and X rays are taken which are then sent to America where a 3D image is made to enable you to see the final result.
  • If patients are happy with the final images and no adjustments are required the Aligners are made.
  • You will be given your Aligners to wear. Each Invisalign® Aligner is worn for 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, brush and floss.
  • You will need to visit your dentist occasionally throughout the treatment.

How do the Aligners move my teeth?

invisalign
  • As each Aligner is changed every 2 weeks a small degree of pressure is placed on the teeth causing gradual movement each time an Aligner is replaced.
